We were so tired after floating the river and this was perfect!!! Steak was so good!!!
Came down to Arkansas to visit my girlfriend's family and she recommended this place because she said she used to go here as a child when she'd visit family. The food and service was phenomenal. Easily the best steak I've had for the price in all of my travels across the country. The salad bar was fresh and had plenty of options. The fried okra and baked potato were excellent sides. Their sweet tea was delicious. Classic steakhouse atmosphere that seems to have endured over the years (which is becoming increasingly rare). 10/10 recommend. This place has earned their longevity and reputation.
Kudos all around! I haven't had such a good baked potato since I was a youngin'. The atmosphere and food were divine, service was attentive and quick, truly a divine gift. Steak was perfectly cooked, and the baked potato was like eating a cloud- not to mention the salad bar (which I will say is a rare thing for a restaurant to have) was plentiful and diverse!

First time and it was very good. Chicken stripes were huge, green beans were very good. It was very busy but got a table fairly quick. Family ordered the fish and said was very good. I will stop again.
It's probably the best steak house I've been to in quite a while. You won't think much of it when you see it from the road,It's pretty plain, but the food is so good. Our party got a variety of steaks cook diffrent way and all were perfect according to the orderer. Pork chops were awesome. Hush puppies were amazing
1st time there. We ordered the special which was the 8 oz ribeye and 2 sides. I was skeptical when I saw how thin the steak was but, it was so tender, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Will be back!
Amazing food and service!! Restaurant is clean and has a very inviting, country atmosphere. Steaks were soooo good! Our waitress was friendly and speedy!! This is one of the few places who actually have a salad bar!! A must stop when passing through!
March 24 & 31st, 2025 Update~Came back through and was happy to find that the steaks stayed just as delicious. Service was still excellent. Salad bar well stocked. 3-16-24 Perfectly cooked steak! Delicious baked potato plus there is a salad bar.
We stopped in Don's Steak house ( June 26, 2025) while passing through Pocahontas and it was definitely a good choice. This is a clean, simple little restaurant that one does not pay for an atmosphere. Our waitress was on top of her game and the food was worth every penny. My only complaint is this restaurant is not located close enough to me to visit more often.
